An Open Letter to Mr. Bill O'Reilly - Al Sharpton & Socialism

Mr. O'Reilly,
During your segment with Mr. Goldberg, you claimed the 'far right' was very 'stirred-up' today...as in-way over the edge...and talk radio was 'there' too (paraphrasing).  I believe there is enough evidence to support that feeling/opinion.

There are many concerned citizens in this country who have family members that fought and died for this country and are watching it being over-thrown right before their very eyes and ears.

Al Sharpton:
"First of all, then we have to say the American public overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama," Sharpton said. "Let's not act as though the president didn't tell the American people - the president offered the American people health reform when he ran. He was overwhelmingly elected running on that and he has delivered what he promised."
"I don't understand Republicans saying this is against the will of the American people," Sharpton said. "They voted for President Obama who said this was going to be one of the first things he would do and he has done the first hurdle of that tonight. So I think the American people was very loud and clear. This was not some concept the president introduced after he won. He ran on this and the American people won tonight because they got finally something from a president they voted for."
What say you?
Does this revealing info. not upset you?

And, if I might remind you....YOU sir, are an 'ENTERTAINER' too!

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it." -- French economist, statesman and author Frederic Bastiast (1801-1850)

  1. Catherine,

I agree it is revealing, however Sharpton is speaking out of both sides of his face here. During the campaign, anytime a conservative would bring accuusations of socialism, Sharp would be right there saying the conservative was a misinformed racist. Now he wants to say that the populace voted for socialism? You can't have it both ways Al!

Also telling was Joe Bidens introduction at the signing ceremony in which he stated: This is the first girder of the social network this administration is looking to create.

Now they want to openly admit it is socialism?
