Speaking Sunday night at a conference he organized for married priests, Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo said that the head of the Vatican's Congregation for Bishops has demanded that Milingo send a letter of repentance by Oct. 15 to Pope Benedict XVI or face "canonical suspension."
+JMJ+ Isaiah 41:15 Behold, I will make of you a threshing sledge, new, sharp, and having teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and crush them, and you shall make the hills like chaff; Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his floor and gather his wheat into the barn; but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire. Priests - Next Generation
This is great news! GO JPII! YEA GOD!In 1990, 18 percent of those surveyed said Father Rahner's writings were among those that had the most influence on their priesthood. Pope John Paul came in seventh, cited by just over 3 percent of those surveyed. In 2005, 21 percent of those surveyed listed Pope John Paul as one of the most influential writers in their lives as priests and only 4 percent listed Father Rahner.
In the 2005 study, the two Internet sites ranked most useful for ministry were the official Web sites of the Vatican and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops -- www.vatican.va and www.usccb.org. Ranked third was www.ewtn.com, the
Web site of the Eternal Word Television Network.
AND GO EWTN!
And darn it I missed their conference this week--why would someone from VOTF present?
Alot of interesting stats.
