On this day O dear Mother Mary -O Shining Star of the Sea- please intercede for the United States in stopping hurricane Ike from taking lives and protect all property from all harm from wind, sea, or rain. We ask all the mighty angels to intercede in a supernatural way in protecting us as well. We ask all this according to the Ordaining Will of the Father. If it is not the Ordaining Will of the Father, we ask that the petition be changed to the Ordaining Will of the Father.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
