The USCCB cannot meaningfully oppose gay marriage, abortion, euthanasia, and other heinous sins until it first publically reforms itself and disciplines its members.
ReplyDeleteHow can our bishops confront civil government when so many of them are due in court to answer charges of covering up for sex offenders? How can they oppose federal funding of abortion when they are busy campaigning for more federal funds to flow into Catholic hospitals? How can they advocate Pro-Life politics successfully if so many of them march arm in arm with pro-choice groups? They cannot serve two masters.
