Mother's Day May 8th 2011

Happy Mother's Day!

After the devastation of April 27th (tornadoes in AL.), my 3 children and new son-in-law were home last weekend and since they were blessed - all safe and happy, I celebrated Mother's Day with them then. It was the best and the most unforgettable weekend ever. Their presence was a special and great gift and blessing! Thank You, Lord for all our blessings. Thank you Blessed Mother, all the angels and Saints in heaven and all the Holy Souls in Purgatory. We pray for all our mothers living and deceased. Happy Mother's Day. May God bless all mothers.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON ON EARTH

The most important person on earth is a Mother. She cannot claim the honor of having built Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not. She has built something more magnificent than any cathedral -- A dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection of a baby's body.
Mothers are closer to God the creator than any other creature. God joins forces with mothers in performing this act of creation.

Blessed Pentecost & Happy Mother's Day!

How appropriate that Mother's Day has coincided with the celebration of the birth of the Catholic Church - Pentecost!

Come, Holy Spirit, Come

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Ave Maria (Schubert)
