"Appeal Committee co-chairwoman at St. Jeremiah’s Mary Beth Carmody said parishioners in other Boston parishes had said the service, held in a church, can replace the Mass, up until a church is deconsecrated."
I don't think so.
And if there are other parishes within driving distance then all should go to Mass there.

Among the greatest of these responsibilities is protecting the most vulnerable members of our society. That was the message that Pope John Paul II proclaimed so tirelessly throughout his own life, and it explains the remarkable outpouring of love for His Holiness at the funeral mass that Laura and I were privileged to attend in Rome. It explains why when the men were carrying his wooden casket up the stairs, and they turned to show the casket to the millions that were there, that just as the casket crests, the sun shown for all to see. (Applause.)"

Howard Dean on Meet the Press
So, Howard Dean is showing up everywhere even red states and even visiting the Catholic hierarchy? That's a bit scary-"going to do some more of that". I wonder who in the Catholic hierarchy he has visited?
Boy -he has a lot of territory to cover.

"Show up Everywhere: The truth is we're reaching out all over the place. We are talking to people. I have spoken with evangelicals. I have visited with some of the Catholic hierarchy in this country. We are going to do some more of that. I've been to 18 states. Of those, eight of them have been red states. We're trying to get our message out everywhere. We are going to go after the Republican--what they think is the Republican base. We're going to go after red states. There are some of those states that we can win. "

II Timothy 4:3-5

"Thousands of women and men from around the country have “visited” Mount Saint Agnes in cyberspace and literally hundreds have taken the time to write in about how proud they are (mostly Sisters of Mercy), how comforted they are (to know that such a place as this theological center for women exists) and how grateful they are (to have witnessed a feminine model of how to speak the truth in a strong and clear voice). One of the many things that I learned from this experience is that there are legions of Catholic news junkies who make Meet the Press part of their Sunday obligation. Many see the show before or after Sunday mass. One called it his “political bible.”
I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT will intercept all communications with these women.
Father GOD please hear and answer my prayers to shut these women down from continuing their disobedience to YOU FATHER GOD and their harm that they are causing to the BODY OF CHRIST.
"The responses we have gotten to the very fact of our existence have been edifying to say the least. Some have even used the opportunity to donate funds in support of our work."
St. Michael intercept this function of financial support- please.
"One woman from southern California wrote, “Your temperate and hopeful tone was a light in the darkness. It helps me remember that I am not alone and that the Holy Spirit has many voices.” Another fan of the show, after hearing Mary Aquin’s response to the women’s ordination question, thought people must have sat up and said: “’Wow, what was that?’ Because you did not say the predictable thing at all, you brought it right back to the crucial issue that ‘the faithful’ have got to be part of all these decisions.” '
