I encountered this 'situation' a few years ago and have prayed so very hard for their conversion...alas...they continue to propagate so much more 'stuff' and it continues to disturb me...I will continue to pray for them.

SF-Most Holy Redeemer AGAIN!
Well it went over the airwaves. Now we can hear what actually took place:TRANSCRIPT - 'PRAYER SERVICE'

This from LifeSite news-San Francisco Archdiocese on BBC "Gay Mass": It was not a Mass and We Didn't Endorse it. On Alison's website he does state that it was a prayer service-see Forthcoming events- 29 April and in the MHR Bulletin online.
I knew about this earlier last week and was waiting to find out the time(U.S.) to listen to the program. I also wondered when someone would write an article about the event.
Found it-The worst part "The service was recorded in October and will be broadcast at 8:10am GMT (3:10 AM CENT) on Sunday on BBC Radio 4."
Since it was recorded back in October that would be around the same time that the SPI's were planning their "Bingo" games too.I'm not sure that you should call it a gay Mass.
It's not, but it's a huge prep rally endorsing the behavior and not condemning the sin. We can LOVE the sinner but NOT the sin!
Where was the pastor-Father Stephen Meriweather? hmmm?
"Fr. Donal Godfrey SJ of the University of San Francisco presides with James Alison preaching". I can't seem to verify his credentials...many places say that he is a theologian, priest, and of course author and speaker.
One place mentions that he 'spent time with the Dominicans--what would that mean? Does he have faculties?So what does 'preside' mean and 'preaching' mean if it was just a 'prayer service'?
And if it was a prayer service why was this distributed: "The 50-minute Mass at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in the predominantly gay Castro district of the city will feature prayers and readings tailored for the gay community."
Where would they get that time? Although, they could have gotten that from the BBC as the length/time of the radio program.But a 'veil tip' to Spirit Daily for the news item-BBC to broadcast gay mass from San Francisco

Maurice Healy, Communications Director for the Archdiocese, however, was adamant that what will be broadcast is neither a Mass nor endorsed by the Archdiocese.

From the Dec. 2005-MSA -"The Scoop"- Spiritual Feminism Workshop. Carol Lee Flinders' association with this institute-Sophia Institute in Charleston, South Carolina.
"If women are to bring forth a new paradigm, built on inclusiveness, mutuality, and reverence for nature, their inner work must be as sustained and systematic as their analysis and their activism. To that end, this workshop will offer a meditative practice that can be carried out in any religious tradition (or none), and that is an ideal foundation for spiritually informed activism."
I have always noticed their systematic drive to change institutions. I consider that burning and razing institutions. Nothing like selfishness to run your emotions and behavior.
Get ready it's getting ready to be a bumpy and dangerous ride on that "train". Even though "the train has left the station" we can still derail and detour it. But let's not get "side-tracked"-defeated by their behavior or their plans. We keep pushing forward-onward and upward assisting in building up HIS KINGDOM on earth-NOT her kingdom!

"Thousands of women and men from around the country have “visited” Mount Saint Agnes in cyberspace and literally hundreds have taken the time to write in about how proud they are (mostly Sisters of Mercy), how comforted they are (to know that such a place as this theological center for women exists) and how grateful they are (to have witnessed a feminine model of how to speak the truth in a strong and clear voice). One of the many things that I learned from this experience is that there are legions of Catholic news junkies who make Meet the Press part of their Sunday obligation. Many see the show before or after Sunday mass. One called it his “political bible.”
I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT will intercept all communications with these women.
Father GOD please hear and answer my prayers to shut these women down from continuing their disobedience to YOU FATHER GOD and their harm that they are causing to the BODY OF CHRIST.
"The responses we have gotten to the very fact of our existence have been edifying to say the least. Some have even used the opportunity to donate funds in support of our work."
St. Michael intercept this function of financial support- please.
"One woman from southern California wrote, “Your temperate and hopeful tone was a light in the darkness. It helps me remember that I am not alone and that the Holy Spirit has many voices.” Another fan of the show, after hearing Mary Aquin’s response to the women’s ordination question, thought people must have sat up and said: “’Wow, what was that?’ Because you did not say the predictable thing at all, you brought it right back to the crucial issue that ‘the faithful’ have got to be part of all these decisions.” '

MSA revisited-Image of JESUS?
I posted below information on Mnt. St. Agnes (MSA) and just found the information concerning the painting mentioned below-here. JESUS IS A WOMAN?! Hmmm. When did JESUS wear earrings?

Mount Saint Agnes Theological Center for Women-Investigated
Mount Saint Agnes Theological Center for Women (systemic change?) founder on NBC'S Meet the Press with Tim Russert-Sisters of Mercy (RSM)-Mary Aquin O'Neill -was the only female panelist this morning on the show. Transcript here.
"I'm grateful for an opportunity to return to the question of truth. Truth is another name for God and so it cannot be something that we possess. It's something that we hope to dwell within. The truth is always larger than we are, greater than we are. And it is not something that we can attain by ourselves. This is why we need the community."
I am quite familiar with this group of dissident women that just want to make sure "the church"/the "people" receive the sacraments-"she isn't of the theology of women priests", she just wants to make sure "we the church/people" have the sacraments, because without the sacraments there is no church.
"The people are hungry for the sacraments, and without the sacraments, we don't have the church. Now, one proposed solution is to ordain women, but my concern about it is that too much of the argument makes it seem that in order to prove our equality, we must be ordained. And that would mean that the ordained are somehow higher and better than the laity. That's a theology I do not accept."
Really?! What about this goddess Litany/worship you are apart of?
Does this look like they follow the teachings of the Church, but first and foremost does it look like they follow CHRIST?

The Crux of the problem answered by JPII this week
Here's the crux of the PROBLEM with in the Catholic Church---poor catechesis!!! EXACTLY!The question remains will the "American" Catholic Bishops listen?Poor catechesis is why we have a culture of sin and of death. When was the last time you heard from your local parish pastor the effects of sin? When did you hear an explanation of the Mass? When did you hear about the lives of the saints? Of their example? When was the last time that you were told to KNOW, LOVE, AND SERVE OUR LORD? That this is the the reason for your existence?Our Holy Father has continually shown the way to our Bishops--American Bishops--are they listening?Tell me does this group Mount St. Agnes Theological Center for Women catechize? -Scroll down the page to "Litany"-goddess worship? This isn't even CHRISTIAN. Are they in line with the Church's teachings? These ladies are allowed to continue to indoctrinate--"catechize" those they reach through their group, their "retreats"through Adult Ed. Programs throughout the country, and through their website. Where is Cardinal Keeler of Baltimore? Where is Bishop David E. Foley -B'ham? They both are quite familiar with these MSA women and these ladies are allowed to continue to operate "their catechesis".
Where is the Archbishop Oscar Lipscomb -Mobile? Spring Hill Catholic College's-Theology Library website is full of dissenting information for the entire world to view and link to. "Who's to be Ordained?" . This website is "linked" (see Theology Library USA at site-scroll down) and recommended throughout the world--by groups (International Movement We Are Church: Links to related organizations) that openly dissent the Catholic Church and it's teachings---they blatantly dissent our Church. Eco-feminist, new-age, "change agents", & women priest-wannabees link to this site.Where is the Catechesis at this "Catholic College"? Is it in the Spring Hill Catholic College Theology Library? One exception to this statement--we can no longer wait for our shepherds to expand committees to study the needs of a diocese...spend money...blah,blah,blah..."We"--the LAITY need to stand up and answer the call to serve OUR LORD, through the promptings, guidance, and gifts of the Holy Spirit-bestowed upon us in our Baptism and sealed at our Confirmation.
