On the eve of Corpus Christi....

WARNING!!!
PLEASE PRAY FOR ARCHBISHOP NIENSTEDT!
PLEASE PRAY! Prayers of Reparation
Pardon Prayer
O My God, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love you! And I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love you.

Prayer of Reparation
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore thee profoundly. I offer thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of thee the conversion of poor sinners.

Eucharistic Prayer
Most Holy Trinity, I adore you! My God, my god, I love you in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

  1. Catherine,

It is Corpus Christi as I write this. Your exhortation to prayer for Archbishop Nienstedt in response to my post on Fratres was most moving...

Here are the words of the good Bishop himself, which I leave as a sign of hope for the future:

“My duty before God as a priest and as a bishop is to set forth, with clarity and conviction, the truth as expressed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and as it has been handed down throughout the church’s history . . . I know that my eternal salvation as well as that of those whom I serve depends on how well and with what clarity I preach and teach the truth. I ought never do so without forethought. But I also ought not do so by way of compromise, no matter how difficult the truth may be perceived by the hearer.”

[December 6, 2007 column in The Catholic Spirit, Archbishop Nienstedt (then coadjutor archbishop)].

God's Blessings and Prayers for you and yours...

P.S. With your permission I would like to include your site on my blogroll, you are welcome to do so with mine if you find it worthy.

  2. Of course...and I will do so with yours. I encourage all to take the Archbishop to Our Dear Blessed Mother...she will assist him.

Our prayers will storm heaven for the Archbishop for the weight of this situation must be overwhelming as it is over whelming to me...so my prayers are for the Archbishop that he will be strengthened by our prayers.
Before we continue to show others and ask prayers we all need to be mindful of the entire situation. By this I mean--we need not make matters worse than they already are.
Let us remember all those that were present-the scandal that took place and what OUR LORD received. I can't even bring myself to say or label what took place at this 'function'. And how that grieves me this day - CORPUS CHRISTI.

Has the Archbishop been informed of this situation? If so we all need to PRAY AND OFFER GREAT SACRIFICE! The enemy is roaming about...

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
