Many of the "gods" and goddesses" of this pre-Christian worldview promoted lifestyles of selfish excess, homosexual practices, and hedonism masquerading as freedom. The myths concerning them had them acting in much the same way. Their lies have simply been reintroduced today, only the myths and statues are different. they still purport to be "progressive" when, in reality, they are regressive.

Anglicans to capitalise on Catholic day
What?
Why?
A new recruitment drive by the Anglican Church will see Sydney homes receive bibles and DVDs in a campaign that draws on next year's World Roman Catholic Youth Day.

Prayers for Kimberly...
It's hard to feel good sitting in the pew on Sundays, listening to sermons you don't necessarily agree with. It's daunting to wonder if you will go to hell because you know you aren't following all the rules and don't support some of your church's basic beliefs, like not allowing priests and nuns to marry. While it's easy to forego meat on Fridays during Lent, it isn't so easy foregoing modern birth control methods the Catholic Church forbids.
Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with with confidence, I fly to you, O virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows
She suffers even more...US bishops’ new domestic policy director was 2006 dinner party speaker for group dedicated to empowering pro-choice women
A Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows
Hallowed Mother, do this favor: Those Wounds that gored my Savior,
deeply on my heart engrave.
Mine it be, Christ's throes in sharing.
Mine it be, his anguish bearing.
These, his wounds, to keep in mind.
From the flame of hell unending, be thou, Virgin, me defending, in that dreadful reckoning day! When in death my eyes are closing, open them, Lord, to see reposing,
Victory's crown in Mary's hand.
When my frame by death is broken,
and my doom by thee is spoken,
be it, Lord, the better land. Amen.
I beseech you, O Lord Jesus Christ, that the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose most holy soul was pierced in the hour of your Passion by the sword of sorrow, may intercede for us with your mercy now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Cathedral of Christ the Light
Cathedral in Oakland diocese..have you seen the pictures? The last rendering looks pretty new age to me. (scroll down)
Oh yeah, remember some of these pictures?
And the fact that they use this quote from Robert Lewis Stevenson on their home page -"Mankind was never so happily inspired as when it made a cathedral."
It should read: "I never weary of great churches. It is my favourite kind of mountain scenery. Mankind was never so happily inspired as when it made a cathedral."
They left off the real meat of this quote! Are you inspired or is beauty in the eyes of the beholder? (Imho) The interior is devoid of all spirituality! It does not inspire. It neither draws my heart to worship GOD nor my thoughts to heaven. Why do people insist on taking open space and creating it in such a devoid manner? Why?

Leaders continue to deny existence of a North American agenda
Scroll down to read the actual question presented by Bret and their answers.
The $64,000 question was posed by Fox News reporter Bret Baier. He asked all three heads of state, "Can you say today that this is not a prelude to a North American Union, similar to a European Union?" Their response was positively sensational. Not one denied that SPP is leading to a North American Union. The White House transcript of the news conference allows us to assume that the elites of the three countries are, indeed, moving toward North American integration.

Priest offers festival-goers the chance to confess their green sins
What?
The Roman Catholic Church is at hand with a new line in “green confessions” to help eco-sinners to find forgiveness.
Dom Anthony Sutch, the Benedictine monk who resigned as head of Downside School to become a parish priest in Suffolk, will be at the county’s Waveney Greenpeace festival this weekend to hear eco-confessions in what is thought to be the first dedicated confessional booth of its kind.
