HIS Mercy and Love
"I also hope that, as long as I am called to fulfill the Petrine service in the Church, the Mercy of God will give me the necessary strength for this service." This statement is from John Paul II's Testament.
So much has been taught again this week by John Paul II even in and after his death.
In his Homily Cardinal Ratzinger explained the Mercy that our Holy Father taught us was not only in his own life (assassination attempt) but in his teachings of St. Faustina's message of mercy from CHRIST in instituting Divine Mercy Sunday-displayed even in his own death-the vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday. He again taught us in the instituting of the Year of the Rosary and the introduction of the new Rosary Mysteries-the Luminous Mysteries.
GOD'S mercy again shown THROUGH HIS MOTHER. And of course lastly IN THIS YEAR OF THE EUCHARIST.
It's ALL HERE!

JPII not gone long from this world...
Our Holy Father wasn't even gone from this world almost 2-3 hours when the press releases were flying. "They" are running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to make sure that all will hear that they mourn the loss of this holy Pope while at the same time continue to spread their prideful behavior. As I prepare for the Divine Mercy Hour--"they" give me great reason to ask and give forgiveness. This can only strengthen me in my virtues and in holiness, for I get to forgive...not just 7 times, but 7 x 77. Plenty of opportunity to offer these people to OUR LORD and HIS MERCY.

SCHISM-The evidence...
While we were all celebrating the Resurrection of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST at EASTER Sunday Mass "This Week", ABC's George Stephanopoulos interviewed Washington's Cardinal Theodore McCarrick from the left". What a revealing interview this turned out to be. I would never have found it had it not been for Mr. Brent Bozell's website and vigilant "Media Watchdog" group-The Media Research Center.
I think that the USCCB with Cardinal McCarrick leading the pack (pack of wolves -that is--"Silence of the Wolves"concerning Terri S. the "LAMB" )--displays for all the world the current state of affairs here in the Catholic Church in the United States. I humbly submit this as evidence that the United States Catholic Church is definitely in a state of confusion- or should we say SCHISM?
Mind you now--George I believe is Greek Orthodox Catholic. And he doesn't back down on any of his questions either. I would love to send off for the transcript but won't waste the money on something I already know. There's enough information in this interview to pretty much confirm AMCHURCH.
"Stephanopoulos: "On so many of these culture of life issues, the practices and opinions of American Catholics seem to be at odds with the teachings of the church: contraception, abortion. Does this create a crisis of authority for the church hierarchy?"
McCarrick: "Well, it certainly creates a crisis of good teaching and of strong teaching and of clear teaching and of compassionate teaching which is always important. But compassionate teaching cannot be teaching what is not true. So, as you go through your teaching of your people, you are to make sure that they understand why you are teaching this. And how this is related to the gospel, this is related to the teaching of the Lord. Once that is done, I think then -- then you can change the minds of your people."
Do you understand this babble? Sounds a little like humanism at it's finest.
And on the previous Presidential Election-2004...
Stephanopoulos: "We did find that out last year and during the election, which obviously was a very bitter election on a lot of sides, you warned that the Eucharist should not become a partisan battleground but isn't that exactly what happened?"
McCarrick countered: "No, I don't think so. I really think that the center held. I think that in some cases and some bishops made a decision on their, on how they saw the situation in their own diocese and their need to teach the people that way. Some made the decision to do that. But I think generally the bishops of the United States decided that this was not something which they wanted to do, and I think the Holy See basically was with us on that decision, those of us who made the decision that it was -- that we were not in favor of a confrontation at the altar rail."
So NOW the U.S. is leading the Holy See? Hmm! Do we see this yet? Whose page are we on? So now we get to see that the USCCB is in charge of the AMChurch? Oh, I get it. That's right my own pastor said that he was getting us ready for the "new church". I guess that he meant we and Rome are gonna have to get on board one way or another because they have already set things in motion and we'll just have to fall in line and follow behind THEM.

Look over at GOOGLE! Notice anything different?
Why you ask? A couple of weeks ago they linked their logo to current events--ie. International Women's Day using the letter "o" in "Google" for the female symbol.
So today while WE are starving Terri and not allowing her water they link their logo (water from a bowl and their letter "o") we celebrate- World Water DAY!
Hmmm- right in the middle of Holy Week. The new water decade’s theme “ Water for Life”.

No new information on Terri or Judge's decision tonight
No new information on Terri or Judge's decision so I'm going to bed.
I can't believe "we" rushed to get all this through Congress and NOTHING TONIGHT for Terri to eat.
There was so much bad information out there tonight and today it sickened me. Here we work through this type of media (blogging) and then we have to somehow grab the information back away from those that distort it because of their own agendas or by their ignorance.
I heard Bill O'Reilly say tonight that Terri was on life-support. What? Please!
Then I heard today Rush L. really out there working for Terri, for truth, and for our humanity. He was great too! He played an ad that stated "Those that choose life....choose Rush"! This was awesome. We have got to make people more aware of our culture of death.
By the way have you heard and seen all these polls that state many Americans believe that Congress should not have stepped in and that Terri should just be allowed to die? I do not believe these polls. How can that be when we as a country, as a people of faith and great resolution to defend life just prompt the Congress to pass a bill and have a President sign within hours of passage? There's something fishy there! Don't ya think?
Well enough tonight. More prayers continue and sacrifice. We keep moving forward and our prayers upward!

I have been waiting patiently to hear Rush L. weigh in on the current life issue affecting this country right now-Terri.
Yesterday, Rush finally paid enough attention to the matter (albeit he did admit not knowing all the details about Michael's present situation or how Terri arrived in her present condition) by devoting almost the entire show with his "open-line Friday" audience calls to Terri's tube removal. He also gave an excellent monologue about how we can't have liberty without life and where we have come over the past 30-40 accepting termination of life issues. Here's the transcript of yesterday's

The eleven-page document, dated March 13, has been published in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Polish. Cardinal Castrillon affirmed that this year's Letter has a special resonance because it was signed in "a place marked by the Cross of Christ," Rome's Gemelli Hospital. "In the silence of his suffering," said the cardinal, "the Pope, with the example of a life given 'to the end', repeats the Pauline affirmation: 'we preach Christ crucified, ... the power of God and the wisdom of God,' loving all men with Christ's charity and completing in his own body what is lacking in the passion of the one Savior and Redeemer," these last words a reference to Colossians 1, 24. Terri has saved a LIFE!
Terri has saved a life! Here is the latest entry in the Pray for Terri guestbook-
Almighty God, thank you so much for the life of Terri Schaivo. Already she has saved the life of at least one person who was going to be starved and dehydrated. The doctor was pushing the family to terminate his life. But, his dear sibling was already so mad about what Terri has been put through these many years, that this caring person absolutely stood his or her ground. The brother has now recovered. This person praises Terri for saving the brother's life. God, she is very unique and dear to us. She has exposed the evil at work in our world in this right to die movement. She is standing against that evil and so are we. Thank you, dear God, for giving us Terri. Please give her a good night's sleep and spare her life so that we may have her with us for many years. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Congress Works to Outlaw 132nd Trimester Abortions; Michael Schiavo's Lawyers to Appeal
"The Senate has a narrowly focused bill that deals only with the planned abortion of Terri Schiavo, allowing her standing in federal court, which would immediately stay a Florida court's ruling which would allow Planned Parenthood's Boca Raton office to perform the controversial abortion procedure, now scheduled for March 18.
The House, however, passed a more broadly defined bill on Wednesday night. In it, "persons" — defined as "any born individual who is presently outside the womb and in at least the 50th trimester of life" — are given the right to take their case to federal court after the state court route has been exhausted. The House bill does not grant an automatic stay for Schiavo despite support from House leaders like the ultra-conservative Rep. Tom DeLay, the House Majority Leader.
But even with an agreement between the Senate and House, sources told The Jawa Report on Thursday that Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) has "dug in" against passage of the Senate bill by unanimous consent. He is a well-known pro-choice advocate and in a recent press statement said that,

Priestly formation must lead to understanding of ‘spiritual fatherhood’, says bishop
The question is finally raised-“Have we adopted a false sense of privacy by which we do not confront, discipline or visit with our spiritual children?” he asked. “Do we abandon our spiritual children by defining our call to the priesthood as a 9-to-5 profession, with an attitude of ‘Don't call me after hours?’”
I have a vocation as a wife and mother. A priest's vocation is well defined by his parish as he is the "father" of a parish family. I know that because of my vocation I am to accept ALL moments of "service"-walking the floor waiting for a teen to come home, attending to a sick child, preparing and feeding my family--this is MY vocation. I can not at a mere whim decide that I need a vacation nor can I decide that I shall not meet the needs of my family. I am ready 24 hours a day to take care of my family.
Many priests have succumb to this thinking. I pray that all priests will accept the graces and prayers that Catholics are offering around the country in churches and chapels before the Blessed Sacrament. That they will be refreshed and renewed by these prayers and sacrifice. We continue to pray and offer our support as always.

Cardinal says some officials to be denied honors
It'll be interesting to see what will actually take place around the country at our Catholic Universities as they prepare for commencement speeches too.
This comment by the Boston Globe gives me suspicion:
Should be allowed to still speak at Catholic colleges? Really? Our children (at the expense of parent's hard earned money to pay the high tutition at these colleges) should have their ears and minds subjected to their speeches? At the risk of having their own souls touched by these people?
I hope and pray that there's more information about this interview.

Dear Congressmen,
Please make every effort to save the life of Florida resident Terri Schindler Schiavo from the inhumane treatment of starvation and dehydration-her slow death. Her executioners should be stopped at all costs!
Please work to pass Congressman David Weldon's (R-FL) legislation titled the Incapacitated Person's Legal Protection Act (Terri's Law). I expect you to pass this law at all COSTS as Terri is a defenseless disabled woman with many that support and love her even out side of her own family and friends. It is deplorable and an abomination to mankind and these United States that we as a country are allowing this to take place when we wouldn't allow the beached dolphins in the Florida Keys to go through this death--by dehydration and starvation.
Thank you for taking the time to address this serious moment in the history of the United States.

On February 28, 2005, the parents of Terri Schiavo were informed, through their Attorney David Gibbs, III that Judge George Greer of Pinellas-Pasco's Sixth Judicial Circuit has denied, without access to hearing, motions filed by Terri Schiavo's immediate family for-
- Updated neurological evaluations based on new MRI testing protocols;
- A motion to compel the deposition of Michael Schiavo;
- A petition for extraordinary authority to provide Terri Schiavo with updated rehabilitative protocols;
- A petition for divorce, citing open adultery on the part of Terri Schiavo's husband and guardian;
- An objection to the guardian's annual guardianship plan
- A motion to remove Michael Schiavo as guardian, citing his failure to comply with Florida Law mandated guardianship requirements. This motion dates back to November of 2002, but the court has never ruled on it.
Judge Greer has stated that he will only consider motions from Terri's family as they relate to the death process, which include but are not limited to a motion to allow Terri Schiavo to die at home instead of a Hospice facility, a motion for a Florida burial, and a motion allowing her immediate family uninterrupted access to her throughout the death process.
The Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation finds the actions of Judge Greer reprehensible and a clear denial of the due process rights afforded to Terri Schiavo under Federal and Florida law.
With new medical diagnosis protocols and new levels of rehabilitation protocols, Terri Schiavo's adjudicated condition of 'persistent vegetative state' is no longer equitable and any responsible jurist would eagerly recognize and accommodate more thorough means of determining the disabled woman's true condition – a condition that remains in great dispute.
Additionally, the Foundation finds the behavior of Judge Greer an absolute obstruction of due process for Terri Schiavo by his refusal to hold the guardian accountable for violation of Florida's guardian laws. The guardian has spent Terri Schiavo's medical fund on representing his own legal interests, has denied her necessary medical services, lives in open adultery with his girlfriend and their two children, has petitioned the courts to cremate Terri immediately upon her death and has repeatedly and flagrantly failed to comply with Florida Statutes that mandate the terms of guardianship. Judge Greer couldn't be bothered with those details so long as Terri Schiavo's death is a guaranteed outcome.

Well, Catholic League president William Donohue, states in his recent press release a detailed description of a scene where "two non-Catholics are mistakenly given Holy Communion at a Catholic funeral Mass. Nate, who is Jewish, and Bowie, a Protestant, don’t know what to do with the Eucharist, so they make several failed attempts to get rid of it. For example, they try slipping it into the pocket of a priest, dropping it on a tray of cheese and crackers, etc."

Dear Governor Bush,
You have sworn to uphold the Florida Constitution which reads
All natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law and have inalienable rights, among which are the right to enjoy and defend life and liberty, to pursue happiness ... No person shall be deprived of any right because of race, religion, national origin, or physical disability.
You have the authority as the top elected official of Florida to save Terri. I have no doubt you and/or your legal staff are aware of every piece of information available about Terri's case. The abuses, conflicts of interest, suppressed evidence, etc. are legion and yet you take no action. If Terri's feeding tube is removed you will have enabled it by your silence.
Why have you not:
- ordered a criminal investigation into the night of the incident that left Terri disabled and the evidence of "trauma" over an extended period of time that indicates possible spousal abuse
- ordered the department of social services to begin legal action to remove Michael as a guardian for failing to fulfill the duties of guardianship under Florida state law
- brought charges against Michael for negligence/abuse of a disabled individual under Florida law defending the rights of the handicapped
- used your influence in the legislature to get a better law defending the rights of those who become disabled without leaving an advanced medical directive
We hear statements that you have done everything under the law, but that is simply not true. The executive branch is responsible for all these investigations that have NEVER been done. You are the top official in this branch and have the ultimate authority to order all these things.
God may have placed you in your position of authority at this time in history for the one purpose of impeding the inexorible push in this country toward the murder of the innocent handicapped/disabled. Please don't go down in history as the man who could have saved Terri Schiavo, but didn't out of concern for your political career.
As President of the Catholic Media Coalition I am urging all of our affiliates to offer Masses, rosaries, and devotions that you might have the courage to stand up for the innocent. Think how many little ones will speak up for you on the day of judgment if you take action for them now. Which is better: to hear the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant" or "Whatever you did NOT do for the least of my little ones, you did NOT do for me?"

Catholic polarization reached new peak in 2004 election, speaker says
On the 2004 Presidential Election-"A "more ominous" element of the election-year divisions, said William A. Dinges, a professor of religious studies at The Catholic University of America and a member of the university's Life Cycle Institute, was the "vitriolic and escalating" rhetoric and "uncivil behavior, characterized by confrontation, harassment and attempts at intimidation."
What does this say!? Did you see this where you live? Did I miss something? Or now Pres. Bush supporters-Right Wing-Christians are considered terrorists again? Hmmm? My own pastor after 9-11 said that "we should be careful of fundamentalist Catholics that hide behind the magisterium "-he inferred that "they" could be considered terrorists too. This statement was made the Sunday after--after 9-11. I don't know what he said after the actual election.
The above statement was just recently made "addressing a national gathering of about 100 diocesan social action leaders." What doesn't sit right here is the fact that this guy and others like him are still holding on to their anger. And I have to say that this is not good for their bodies. Too much anger will take over you and then all those social programs that "they"control and administer will become hampered or stifled. People don't work well under that kind of stress. No that's not good at all.
"He said much of this was fueled by a relatively small number of groups and individual Catholics who sought to get the entire Catholic community to make the election hinge on the issues of abortion and embryonic stem-cell research, but the polarization itself runs deep across the Catholic community."
Small groups and individual Catholics? Really? "Google" these terms: "Catholic", "Kerry", & "Reception". Looks like there are 76,600 possible sites that one can review to decide the number of groups and individuals that were "harassing" and "intimidating" fellow Catholics nationwide.

Darnit! Top U.S. court leaves abortion alone. So the courts won't even look at this case? How can this country continue down this road? How does this country survive the "elimination" of the innocent? The culture of death continues at all levels.

Please pray for the conversion of Michael Schiavo...Sr. Lucia please intercede from heaven for GOD'S dear child-Terri Schindler Schiavo. We offer YOU LORD all our praise and thanksgiving in every moment of life.
Please FATHER GOD-we BEG and PLEAD before YOU LORD for YOU are greater than all of us here and most especially greater than those that wish to do harm to your defenseless child -to please rescue your child Terri from the grips of death. Please I ask that you send in your MIGHTY Warrior Angels to rescue Terri from all harm, that they guard her, and that they put up every supernatural defense in protection of this child.
Our FATHER, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
